Baby Chloe

When I received the call from Steven's Hope for Children that Carol (mommy) was flying out here from Hawaii to stay in one of their apartments and wanted to have maternity pictures taken while she was out here waiting for the birth of her baby girl who they knew was going to be born with a heart problem called (Hypo-Plastic Left Heart Syndrome) this is a condition where the heart is only half developed, I knew this was going to be a shoot I would never forget.

This is when donating my time feels the most rewarding and I can't tell you how much it touches my heart to be able to give a gift like this to families like Carol and Cy (daddy).

Chloe was born on June 11th, 2010 and was whisked away and hooked up to several different machines right after birth. I then went to Loma Linda hospital a couple of days later to take these images of Chloe, mommy and daddy in the NICU. On June 16th she had to have her first of three series of heart surgeries and then a couple of weeks after that she had to go in for another surgery for her Paraesophagael Hiatal Hernia and Midgut Malrotation. She is currently still in the hospital and is fighting everyday to get better. Please say a pray for her and that she will be able to go home soon with mommy and daddy.
